- Project summary:
-
Pursuant to the provisions outlined in H.B. This collaborative initiative, undertaken with the TWDB Offices of Planning (OoP), Water Science & Conservation (WSC), and Geographic Information Office (GIO), aims to:- study issues faced by communities with artificial drainage systems; and
- prepare a written report that contains possible recommendations relating to addressing identified issues facing those communities.
- Project deliverable(s):
- Scheduled for submission to the legislature by January 1st, 2025, the final report will provide an assessment, including literature review, summary of stakeholder feedback, findings, and recommendations . Through this initiative, the TWDB seeks to continue empowering communities to effectively manage stormwater, mitigate flood risks, and enhance resilience.
